- 400g mixed soft fruits such as blackberries, raspberries and figs
- 250g mascarpone
- 2 egg yolks
- 50g icing sugar
- 1 vanilla pod
- 10g toasted flaked almonds

1Butter a Le Creuset Stoneware 20cm Heritage Oval Dish.

2Wash the fruit and chop any larger fruits into bite-sized pieces.

3Arrange the fruit in an even layer in the dish.

4Combine the mascarpone with the egg yolks, icing sugar and vanilla seeds, scraped from the pod.

5Spoon the mascarpone mixture over the top of the fruit and place under the grill (position the top of the dish no closer than 5cm from the heating element).

6Grill for around five minutes or until the top of the mascarpone custard begins to turn golden brown and the fruit has softened. Remove from the grill with oven gloves and sprinkle with the toasted flaked almonds.

7Dust with icing sugar to serve.
