Care

handwash

Before First Use:

  • Enjoy unboxing your new purchase! (And make sure to remove the labels and packaging.)

Cleaning:

  • Never immerse the removable grinding mechanism in water.

  • The Stoneware body and silicone caps are dishwasher safe. Constant dishwashing may dull the finish, but this will not affect performance. Dry thoroughly before use.

  • Wipe wooden parts clean with a cloth. DO NOT use water, chemicals, or abrasive cleaning agents. Apply a light coat of mineral or nut oil to the exterior only with a soft cloth if it becomes dry.

  • To clean the grinding mechanism, finely grind 30ml of salt and discard it. For the pepper mill, eliminate the salt residue from this step by grinding 15ml of peppercorns afterwards.
